Convert HEIC to JPG on Windows
October 11, 2026
iPhone photos often arrive as HEIC. Windows and many websites still expect JPG. You can convert the file in this browser without uploading it.
What you received
HEIC is the photo format many iPhones use. It keeps a similar picture in less space than an older JPG.
A Windows PC, a form, or an older app may refuse to open it. The file is not broken. Those programs do not read HEIC.
Convert it here
Open HEIC to JPG, drop the file, and leave quality near 90 unless you need a smaller JPG. The decoder runs in this browser. The photo is not sent to Glazlo.
Type a width or a height if the phone photo is larger than you need. The limit is 20 files, 25 MB each, and 16 megapixels.
When it will not work
Some HDR, burst, and Live Photo files still fail. The page says so instead of inventing a JPG. A Live Photo pair may convert only the still image.
If the same file keeps failing, export a JPG from the Photos app on the iPhone, or ask the sender for a JPG.
What the JPG leaves out
The new JPG does not keep the location or camera details from the HEIC. You download the picture.
