Convert HEIC to JPG
Open an iPhone HEIC photo as a JPG without sending it to a server. This page loads the decoder only when you use it.
Your files stay on your device. All processing happens locally in your browser. We never upload, store, or view your images.
This tool runs in your browser. Turn on JavaScript to choose images.
How to use it
- 1On Windows, drop the HEIC file you received from an iPhone.
- 2Leave quality near 90 unless you need a smaller JPG.
- 3Download the JPG. If a ZIP does not save on an iPhone, download each file instead.
Good to know
- Some HEIC files still fail, including a few HDR or burst photos. The page will say so instead of pretending it worked.
- Very large phone photos can run out of memory. Files over 25 MB or 16 megapixels are refused.
- The JPG does not keep location metadata.
- Live Photo pairs may convert only the still image.
Questions
Why convert HEIC to JPG?
iPhones often save photos as HEIC. Windows and many websites still expect JPG.
Does the photo leave my computer?
No. The decoder runs in this browser. That also means a very large photo depends on your device's memory.
What if conversion fails?
Export a JPG from the Photos app on the iPhone, or ask the sender for a JPG. Some HEIC variants are not supported.
Can I resize while converting?
Yes. Enter a width or height if you want a smaller JPG at the same time.
