Good to know
- PNG files are often larger than the JPG they came from. That is expected.
- The PNG does not add transparency. JPG has no alpha channel to recover.

Why is the PNG bigger?
JPG throws away detail to stay small. PNG stores the pixels losslessly, so the same photo usually takes more space.
Will a white background become transparent?
No. Glazlo does not guess which pixels should be transparent.
Is the JPG uploaded?
No. Conversion happens in your browser.
Can I convert PNG back to JPG?
